How often should I have my air conditioner serviced?
We recommend you service your residential air conditioning system at least once a year and commercial systems annually, biannually or quarterly, depending on the usage and industry requirements. This ensures optimal operating performance and prolongs the life of your air conditioner.
Do you carry out commercial air conditioning service and maintenance?
Yes, we do. We suggest servicing commercial air conditioner systems at least once per year or biannually and even quarterly depending on how often the system is used or if the commercial system air conditions a number of offices or a large area. Many industries, such as the health and medical industry, nowadays have more stringent requirements regarding air quality and recommend more frequent maintenance on air conditioning systems. We also offer commercial air conditioner maintenance packages and can track and plan your services for you as well.
Can I request a time for my air conditioning service?
Our residential maintenance services are booked directly with the customer and we provide a day and a time when the service person will arrive on site. With commercial maintenance we can provide a day the service will be carried out and a 2-3 hour window when the serviceman will arrive.
How much does air conditioning servicing and maintenance cost?
The cost varies depending on whether the service being carried out is a breakdown repair or a maintenance service. If a breakdown repair is required, then a call out fee and hourly rate will be charged, plus any parts that may be required to repair the system. If we are carrying out a maintenance service, then a general service will be carried out initially to bring the machine up to its optimally operating capacity and then our customers can take up our annual maintenance service offer which is charged at a flat rate dependent of the type and number of systems being serviced. This is the most economical way to maintain your air conditioner

Do I still need preventative maintenance if my unit comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty?
Yes, it is still essential to keep up to date with regular air conditioning maintenance, as the 5 year warranty only covers parts and labour in the event of any under warranty faults and repairs. However, the warranty may not be honoured if the failure is due to a lack of proper maintenance and servicing. The warranty also does not include clogged drains, blocked filters or other issues that can become problematic if the unit isn’t maintained effectively.
